The Bushmen are a sparsely spread primitive hunter gatherer-tribe that inhabit the deep interior Kalahari Desert. They are the only people in the world who've mastered the art of living without any significant water source. Their water needs are just a few drops everyday, which they get from squeezing the roots of some desert plants.
Living in very hostile terrain, their contact with civilization is minimal and the rare encounters that they have with other people is mostly with the poachers that roam the Kalahari to collect elephant tusks. In a way, as stated in the header, discovering the extremely different priorities that various human societies have nurtured over time is a philosophical journey that enriches our thoughts.
